You make a great point about how when we grieve after someone passes away, it’s a way we attempt to keep that person alive in our perceived world. My sister has been very depressed ever since her best friend from school passed away from cancer a few months ago. She’d probably benefit from seeing a professional about this. I would assume that speaking with a counselor could be helpful.

The workshop has given my daughter the opportunity to look at herself and her behaviour. It has allowed her to reflect and think positively about herself and with other people.

Our son is now so much more confident and we truly feel that we have our child back and can’t thank you enough! Parents and kids in this situation (bullying) need a “pocket” Usha, that they can call on whenever they need to – thank you!

Usha has written an excellent book that gives useful and practical ideas for parents to work on with their children. The techniques are simple and well-explained, and make a real difference for both children and adults. The both is equally useful for primary school teachers, who will be able to benefit greatly from Usha’s insights. Highly recommended!
